The UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination released a statement today urging Iran to counter the discrimination that its minorities face everyday. While the Committee focuses on racial and ethnic prejudices, the statement also mentioned the difficulties faced by members of the Baha’i Faith in addition to ethnic Arabs, Azeris, Balochis, and Kurds.
