In the past year, the Sentinel Project has seen many great changes within the organization. One of our proudest accomplishments is SP’s University Chapters. Not only have we exceeded the number of chapters we expected to have at this time, we could not be happier about the achievements of our various teams. The Canadian chapters at the University of Waterloo and Mount Allison University have been working hard to fundraise and strengthen awareness of the cause. (And on a side note, Rebecca Dixon, co-director at Mount Allison University, has been awarded the Rhodes scholarship! Congratulations, Rebecca!) Our team at Mercyhurst is focused on the Baha’i situation in Iran and the UC Berkeley chapter has been selected to attend the 2012 Clinton Global Initiative University!
If you think you or your friends would be interested in starting your own chapter at your university or college, we would love to hear from you! To find out more about our University Chapters program and how you can become a director, please email me: lisa@thesentinelproject.org.
