The Iranian human rights organization RAHANA has provided a summary of anti-Baha’i rights violations in the first week of November. Four events in this excerpt highlight the ongoing judicial harassment and imprisonment of Baha’is for charges related to their beliefs:

November 1

Baha’i Citizen Summoned to the Revolutionary Court

Dorsa Sobhani who has been deprived of continuing her education was summoned to the Revolutionary Court for her court hearing which will be held on December 12th.

November 2

Siamak Ilghani Summoned to Serve His 3 Year Prison Sentence

Siamak Ilghani was summoned by the sentencing unit of the Semnan Revolutionary Court in order to start serving his 3 year prison sentence.

Court Hearing Held for Sama Nourani

A court hearing was held for the Baha’i student Sama Nourani who had previously been banned from continuing her education. She was charged with anti-regime propaganda.

November 3

Baha’i Citizen Summoned to the Revolutionary Court

Sara Mahboubi who has been deprived of continuing her education was summoned to the Sari Revolutionary Court in order to present her final defense.
